This is a design project that I completed for my CEP 802 Developing Positive Attitudes toward learning class. The intent of the project was to work with a student on increasing their motivation in the classroom. The student I used was a student that I had a personal connection with. This is a power-point outlining her situation, the steps taken to work, addressing, and implementing my motivation plan to help her during one of my class period. |

I created this book during my Technology and
Literacy for Students with Mild Disabilities class. This was my most favorite project that I completed during my entire masters program. We were asked to create some type of a digital movie. I am not a creative person and was not sure where to start. My sister who is extremely creative made a scrapbook style ABC book. So I stole her idea and created it as a movie using my children’s pictures. I worked with students that have many disabilities and grew to love this program even more after seeing all the possibilities that using this movie could be used in helping those struggling readers. |

I created a website in my Teaching School Subject Matter with Technology class. This website is designed for students to set up a
personal budget for themselves. They are taken through step by step instructions on selecting cars, housing, jobs, school, etc. Once they have completed their budget they are expected to have a classroom discussion about if they were living within their means. |

During my CEP 883 course, Psychology of Classroom Discipline, we were asked to create something that could be used at an open house for parents. I created this parent presentation for the parents of my senior math class. Not only does it introduce myself it offers information on transitioning students from high school education throughout their post secondary goals. |

Another assignment that I worked on during my CEP 883 course was creating a website for my classroom. On this website I listed many of the same resources that I presented to my parents at our open house. This gave parents an opportunity to view the information that they may not have received if they were unable to attend.
